i just bought a new macbook pro!! it's awesome.. figure out the rig yourself, its mind blowing! lol anyway.. yun lang! im excited.. kasi pagod na ako sa WIN.. laging nagcra-crash.. daming virus. and then kahit gano ka ok yung upgrade, there's always something wrong with it. I hava 350 gb with 2gb RAM, pero mabagal parin. TApos nag fre-freeze. argh, kaasar! I used to play EQ2 with the GForce 4, lag pa rin. so finally, bumili ako ng Mac, since yan naman ang gamit ko sa school and work so yeah. awesome beans!

I wont argue on whos the best software pro keep in mind.. It will always depends on your type of work.


They will always differ in the applications that you will use / install.

pero kung multi computer ka, oks lang man ang isa kay MAC ang isa kay PC, or kung man virtual PC ka oks lang yan

kaya nga napaka-ingenius ng ginawa ng Mac coz i can run Vista and Leopard sa Macbook at the same time! you can choose which software to use, then switch anytime! awesome right?! and since Graphic arts and photography yung line of work ko, i decided to get a mac over pc.

and now-a-days, almost lahat ng programs run in Mac and Win, so you can never go wrong. Kaso nga lang PC is really good sa Gaming and Mac naman sa mga high end graphics, 3d etc.

Pero one thing is for sure.. Windows VISTA SUCKS!!. Most of my installations are on XP and even merong vista most of the time request ng tao is switch back to Windows XP even nasa 2GB RAM with core2duo na ang kanilang mga Rig.


Here's what I hate most about vista:

1) Stupid! -- Everytime I install something or config there's always ACS (access control security) yung laging nag-ask "ALLOW" or "DENY"

2) Driver support --- Most of the scanners / printers or USB devices not recognized

3) Huge VideoCard and RAM consumption..

4) Most importantly -- Same lang mag gamit ka ng XP or Vista wala naman Major Improvements . Nag-iba lang ang itsura.. Pero ganun padin naman ang gamit. ( silly masyado! )


Grabe pag makahawak ako vista.. it took me 30min before ko magamit. I need to disable sooo many useless programs(like windows defender, firewall, etc..) and yung ACS. Then start na fix.. kundi virus problem driver problem.. most common angal ng users mabagaaaaal masyado.

ohh yeah i totally agree kasi yan ang OS ko ngayon (win), but i like that it's a little bit too over-protective. I don't think it's a stupid thing, considering we have all kinds of viruses ngayon, i dont blame if they get too paranoid each time we install or do something.

driver support, now taht really sucks, i bought a 500$ scanner and it worked really good in XP, and my fiance switch to Vista, hindi ko magamit ang scanner kasi hindi supported, i have to wait for 6 months bago sila nakagawa ng drivers. I got the drivers, it sucks naman kasi they only made the minimum software, so instead na nakakascan ako upto 9600 dpi, ngayon hangang 300dpi lang!!! and i cant do anything about it but to buy a new scanner. so yeah.. it has flaws.

wel, i had to program it para hindi mag load yung mga programs na ayaw ko. and 30 mins? that's exxagerating! lol it takes me approximately 5 mins to start working on the computer after i turned it on.

bout the video card and RAM consumption.. i havent notice anything yet sa vista, ive been using it for a year now.. i dont know if having a slave drive would affect it.

pero all in all, mas ok talga ang XP, i cant argue with that.

yeah XP is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than VISTA

But I wanna experience having a unit of MAC on my own
