hey arthur, how does that phil. paypal work?! i mean, alam ko how it works on ebay, but if mag papadala ako ng pera jan, how do i do it?

@pgagni - I recomend to use Western Union than pay pal... it requires credit card / exisiting bank accounts..

and much easier sa western kaysa pay pal na complicated... verifications pa kac. ^_^

@pgagni you can use ATM card sa paypal, I use UnionBanks EON card, just apply for UnionBanks EON card(0 maintaining balance 300+PHP payment/year)

tapos register ka sa paypal, add a card use visa electron, use your union banks eon account number, mababawasan yan nung initial charge ng paypal to validae the card.

Then retrieve the validation number from union eon(via internet unionbankph.com) then thats it.

you can now add/withdraw money from your paypal to your union bank eon atm card.(5-7 days ang transaction to be cleared)

but if you want a quicker way to send money from USA to PHILS you can use xoom.com

using you paypal/creditcard/us bank account send money via xoom.

this can be remitted via cebuana lhuiller or equitable pci brances nation wide.

the reciever of the money will only need 2 valid ID'S with picture and fill out the form, and the xoom tracking number, and email ofourse to receive the xoom verification mails


xoom is cheaper then western union, you can alse use moneygram just same with xoom, alse cheaper than western union(i think)

i dont have problems if i have to validate or use credit card on paypal, kaso if im gonna send money there, you said that i should use that Union account right?! would that be transfering accounts? coz if im gonna get moeny from my bank to my moms bank, how is that gonna work in paypal?

for xoom, how much ang fee naman? is it secure?!

and you are right, western union cost alot, i had to pay $25 fee to send money, and that is every hundreds i send, so if i send $500, i have to pay 75$ for fees. thats ridiculous. but yeah.. it sucks...
